Be the Delta Variant
There’s a lot of hullabaloo currently circulating about viral variants. It’s enough to make one start to panic again. Before buying into the hype being peddled by mainstream news, social media tech companies, and our government health organizations: stop. Take a deep breath. We’ve been through this before. Remember hunting and gathering toilet paper? Remember empty grocery store shelves? Let’s be smart about this. Let’s change how we respond.
In high school physics class, I learned various different formulas for calculating phenomena like velocity, acceleration, friction, and so on. Physics relies on different symbols to represent numerical values. The symbol used to represent the concept of “change” is the Greek letter Delta Δ. For example, a “change” in velocity would be represented by the symbols: ΔV. In fact, for extra credit, our physics teacher had us take pictures with random people making this symbol combo with our hands.
As the whole world is swirling into another panic, I encourage you to Be The Delta Variant (ΔV). Be the variable for change in your life and the lives of your friends and family. Change how you respond. Change how you get your information. Change how you react in the face of alleged danger. Do your own research. Turn off the news. Put down the Kool-Aid.
Arm yourself with some basic health knowledge about how to raise your vibration and enhance your God-given immune system. If you’re not already doing the following, I would seriously consider it:
Avoid sugar and refined carbohydrates. These promote inflammation and slow down ability to heal from infection
Unless you have a disease condition which would require you to limit fluid intake, drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of purified water every day (example: 120 lb person should drink 60 oz water per day)
Adults: Get 7-9 hours of sleep per night. Teens & young kids: 9-11 hours per night
Move your body. Regular exercise moves the lymphatic system, which “cleans up” the body.
Ensure your vitamin D levels are optimal (60-80 ng/mL on lab work is optimal)
Make sure your blood sugar is well-controlled. A non-diabetic person should have a morning fasting blood sugar level between 75-85 mg/dL. Higher than 100-120 mg/dL may be associated with a condition called pre-diabetes.
In an earlier post, I mentioned listening to an interview with former Pfizer VP and virologist, Dr. Michael Yeadon, MD. In that interview, Dr. Yeadon cited several studies showing robust immunity to viral variants in people who had recovered from COVID-19 infection. Here are two of those studies:
Scientists uncover SARS-CoV-2-specific T cell immunity in recovered COVID-19 and SARS patients (People who recovered from COVID-19 were also immune to the SARS virus from 2002-2004. “…the team showed that patients who recovered from SARS 17 years ago after the 2003 outbreak, still possess virus-specific memory T cells and displayed cross-immunity to SARS-CoV-2”)
Negligible impact of SARS-CoV-2 variants on CD4+ and CD8+ T cell reactivity in COVID-19 exposed donors and vaccinees (The immune system response to COVID-19 is robust and protective against variants.)
I hope people are realizing the pile of lies that has been spread around the world in the last year. I hope that we don’t fall for it again, and again, and again…
